Couch surf?

Real life, real talk.

In a recent turn of events it looks like as of this Sunday I will be once again without a home. Sort of. (I always get into these pickel jars..)

I still have Burlington worst comes to worst, however with the new job in Toronto and my severe lack of funds commuting just isn't an option I want to consider. So what to do now? I've gone on an apartment hunting blitz, seen a few and now I've just signed up for couchsurfing. Yup couchsurfing.org. Hi, I'm Lauren. I like coffee and drinking it and talking about zombies and clothes and True Blood and Buffy. Let's be friends?

Has anyone heard of this? What should I expect? Is it only for the wayward traveller?

I've also thought about the hostel idea.

Not having a place to sleep is stressful, but I love being in the city far too much to be logical and go back to Burlington.
