Put your hands up for Detroit.

I love this city.

I left work with the biggest smile on my face tonight. People must have thought I was a crazy. Jazz says "A good defense is a good offense, if you don't want people to talk to you around here just talk to yourself"

The people I work with are unbelievably friendly, I was so concerned that I wouldn't fit in but it feels like I've been there for months. I think about Peterborough & the people there everyday but in the 3 days I've been in Toronto it just feels right and I know down to my bones: despite the hardships that I'll eventually hit;moving here was the right choice. How can moving somewhere with so much to offer be a bad thing if I take chances and go for what I want?

Lights came into the store for a signing yesterday, it was nuts. She's so little and cute and adorable. I really can't say anything negative about that girl because she was just SO sweet and wholesome.
I worked for 11 hours but it felt like nothing.
I'm so freaking tired.

Tomorrow I'm going to see Brand New (!) at the Yonge St HMV, the manager came into the store today and told me he'd try to introduce me to the band...what the heck do you say to a band you listened to when you were 15? Thanks for making my angust enjoyable? Regardless, I'm flippin' out with excitement.

Oh booooooooyy. I'm excited.

Welcome to the good life.

Today was my first day at the new HMV, it was pretty strange to know what I was doing for the most part but in a completely different atmosphere. Everyone was super friendly & the people that came in were upbeat and generally in a great mood. It was so bizarre, I normally get at least one surly and one crazy a day.

Tomorrow I work (as I do everyday this week, holla 40 hours) and I get to see Lights when she comes in to an in-store signing. That's pretty cool, right? This Saturday DeadMou5, an electronica Dj is coming in to spin a set.

Walking home was pretty wild, everything is so bright here. For the first time in months I feel like I can really do anything I want. I'm going to view a house in Kensington tomorrow and school is lining itself up for January.

It's too soon to tell but maybe, possibly, I've found my spot?

Searching for a woman who's never been born.

Toronto, Day One.

I'm sitting in a restaurant waiting for my order that was taken in the midst of a miniature panic attack.

"Uh..sure, combo 44. Is it good? You don't know? Well fine then, I'll go with combo 43 instead. 43 sounds like a delicious number"

This is my first night in Toronto and I'm all alone. It's not surprising; I enjoy burning things, like cigarettes and bridges.
I'm fairly certain my last night in Peterborough left a bitter taste in my friends' mouths. I'm not proud of my actions nor would I say they're exactly in good taste...but I couldn't resist.

"Don't eat that cookie..I mean it .Don't eat that cookie."

Do you remember when your Mom would say something like that to you? I do, I also remember that I was that kid that would grab the cookie and quickly stuff it into my mouth, chewing it as fast as I could. Sometimes I'd choke on the damned thing.

The important thing is that the people that I'm going to miss-the one's that really matter I've apologized to. Granted they haven't forgiven me and making amends from a new city is going to be difficult but at least it's a start.

What the fuck did I order? I could have sworn I'd get to use chopsticks. Fuck forks. FORK FORKS!
MMM..Ok, Ginger at Parliament &Carlton is so freakin' good!

.Obsessed.

I'm in love with this song/video.
Perhaps it's because of Rihanna? She's offically my style hero.

Killing Nazi Zombie Time.

I had SUCH a hankering for cake today, so instead I googled cakes and found this wickedly funny blog about cakes gone wrong. Google cake wrecks.

These are my favourite of the day.

.What doesn't kill us makes us better whores.

Not that I'm any good at it, but holy heck. I want to go snowboarding so badly, right now.
If I ever leave Peterborough I'm going to miss the ability to just go to wherever it's steep and ride my Marty McFly (Yes, my board's name is Marty McFly)

Sigh.
I'm wishing for snow...is that sad?

I've got a twenty dollor bill...

It also occured to me today that in two weeks it's September. WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?
Frick eh.
I'm not ready at all , I still feel like my world is all topsy turvy.
What does it mean when you can't make up your mind...despite trying to for 5 months?

We didn't actually go into the park, we just went to CityWalk where all the bars were.

Most amazing hotel ever. We stayed here for Shaun's birthday.

This is Mushroom. He &Proper are friends, they met in the hot-tub. They now have a television series; Proper & Mushroom...Did I mention we were drinking in the hot tub too?

Trying to play 'Brown Eyed Girl' while intoxicated.

The most amazing drunk -drinking game ever.

Our beach. It was pretty much empty everyday.

Shaun tricking. Great view eh?

The view from the back balcony.

Heather, Adrian & Shaun in the carport after we first arrived. Don't be fooled, there's beer in that coffee cup.

Our House.

Not wearing pants, as usual.

After a 26 hour long car ride it didn't matter that it was cloudy.
